Review: Dubai Airport Show

We were exhibiting at the Dubai Airport Show 2015 with our 12 sqm booth at Hall 6, stand 6001 near the entrance. We showcased videos of airport simulation projects and the benefits of digital manufacturing.

airport-showWe engaged with many visitors and asked about their line of business, we could give them specific examples of how simulation could be applied to improve their operations and increase profit margins. We were able to change their mindset from “No need…” to “Yes, we should do this!” Hence the exhibition was a great success to tell people about the various application areas and benefits that simulation technology will bring to their business.

Working Time Change Executive Forum: clients sharing their experience

At the Annual Working Time Change Forum at the Celtic Manor Resort in the UK many different businesses presented about their working time change journey, what challenges they faced, what were the lessons learned and benefits achieved. Hearing it from the person in charge of the project was so much more interesting. They were candid when they said they had to change more than just shift patterns, infact the entire company culture and work attitude has to change. From in-efficient 8 hours standard work time with plenty of costly over-time payments to a flexible shift system aligning workforce to the actual demand driven solely by the market and customer service level.
