A mid-size logistics provider & freight forwarder with 2 branches in Dubai wanted to replace their current old IT system with a new and more comprehensive solution. The current tool mainly helped managing finances and invoicing, but only recording the basic job details, while operations department mainly relies on email, paper documents and third party systems (e.g. customs and airlines booking websites). This caused a lot of double-entry of data and working with additional spread sheets to monitor job progress and derive operational statistics. Overall it was error-prone especially when working across branches and day/night shifts.
